Ejections

Ejection / Suspension Policy

Referees may eject players from the game and coaches, assistant coaches, parents, spectators, or any player at any time for any good reason. If the ejected individual refuses to leave, referees may forfeit the game.

Ejection is automatic for anyone (player, coach, assistant coach, parent, or spectator) who is charged with their second direct technical foul.

If ejected from the game or gym, the individual (player, coach, assistant coach, parent, or spectator) is also suspended from the next game. Suspended individuals are not permitted to attend or be present at that game.

The referee and/or a coach must notify the League President or Board Member of the ejection. A Board Member will notify both the suspended individual and the opposing coach of the suspension before the next game.

Additionally, the suspended individual must complete a certification course before returning:

If the same player, coach, or assistant coach is ejected a second time, the suspension will increase to two games and will increase progressively with each subsequent ejection.

Once a player or coach receives their third direct technical foul of the season, they will be suspended for one game.
