MTYB’s Recreational League is designed to provide an opportunity for the youth of Monroe Township to play basketball in a fun, structured environment.

 

Non-Resident Fee: A $50 non-resident fee will be applied to participants who reside outside Monroe Township and do not attend a Monroe Township school. This is determined by a required question during registration. MTYB reserves the right to audit responses, including verification of residence and school information. The fee is collected by MTYB and passed through to Monroe Township Parks & Recreation. Non-Monroe Township residents will be placed on a waiting list. Non-residents will be added to teams only if space remains after all Monroe Township residents have been placed.

 

League Age: Player age is based on how old the player is as of September 30, 2025.

 

Important: Refund Policy: Once teams have been formed, no refunds will be issued for players who choose not to participate. If a player is injured before the start of the season and will be unable to participate in the full season, the Board may consider issuing a credit toward a future season. Supporting documentation (e.g., a medical note) will be required for any credit to be approved.
